Part Worn TyresWe have a large stock of QUALITY Used Tyres available in most sizes. 90% of these are Branded tyres, including Michelin, GoodYear, Pirelli, Dunlop and Continental.
All of our part worn tyres are thoroughly examined when we receive them, then they are checked again once fitted onto the wheel, and finally they are dipped into water to check for any leaks from the tyre, valve or the rim itself. |
Puncture RepairAt Saddlers Tyres, we will always try to save the life of a tyre before suggesting a replacement. However, we are unable to repair punctures on the edges, the sidewall of the tyre, and if the tyre is below the legal 1.6mm thread. British standard BSAU159 states that the puncture cannot be more than 6mm in diameter. Before attempting a puncture repair, we will always examine the tyre and be sure that it is safe and legal to carry out the service.

Wheel BalancingWheel balancing ensures that the weight of the wheel and tyre is even around the axle, this is achieved by placing tiny weights at specific points around the wheel.
If you notice your car steering is wobbling side to side when driving over 40mph, this is most likely due to the wheel balance being offset. If you have purchased a tyre from us, we will always balance the wheel before fitting it onto your vehicle and this is at no extra cost. |

Air Conditioning RechargeIf you have turned your AC on in your car, but notice it isn't coming out cold, this could be due to the refrigerant gas being low or empty. We offer an AirCon (AC) recharge service, this involves connecting your vehicle to our specialist machine, which pressure tests your pipes checking for leaks, and then pumps refrigerant into your vehicle to the correct amount. A small amount of oil is also pumped in with the refrigerant, this is to prevent pipes from cracking due to the freezing temperatures. Prices vary depending on the size of your car, so we recommend you call in for more information.

Alloy Wheel RepairCracks in Alloy Wheels will make your tyre loose pressure, and this will damage the tyre. It's hard to replace just one alloy without buying a full set, which is why we offer Aluminium wheel welding to repair the crack in the alloy.
This is done off-site as it is too hot to be around our tyre stock, it is a lengthy process which involves heating and cooling the aluminium very slowly to prevent it from damaging. |
